I'm so bummed I'm moving in a couple months because I JUST discovered this place and LOVE it! I've already been back like three times in the past two months. It's a problem. Their sesame chicken is fabulous, and the fried rice is great too. Lunch hours go until 3 pm, and their lunch prices are great, especially because you get the standard Chinese-food-sized amount of food.

I stopped at this place because I wanted some Chinese takeout to go along with my Redbox movie and Yelp told me that this was the closest place. It's in a teeny strip mall on 13 Mile. If you aren't looking for it, you'll cruise right past it. The restaurant itself is very small. There's a couple of small tables and chairs, but it's primarily carryout. And it's very good. Admittedly, I only ordered Gai Kow and shrimp fried rice, but it was tasty and generously portioned. I'll definitely check this place out again!

Good Chinese food close to my house. It's not anything unusual. Your basics are good. Wonton soup, egg rolls, fried rice etc. it is the best place we have found with in a mile of 14& pierce.

Great (American) Chinese/Taiwanese food. Hot, fresh, and well-flavoured. It's not necessarily gourmet or authentic but it's amazing food for a night in. The kitchen is very clean and the staff is friendly and personable. Awesome hole-in-the-wall you don't want to overlook.

So like an hour and a half ago I ordered the Almond chicken dinner from there. As I am at home smashing, because it was very good, I see a piece of hair sticking out of the chicken. I then try to remove the hair only to find that I have to pull it out from underneath the chicken because it was so long! I instantly get grossed out and am upset because I was actually enjoying my food. I didn't know wether to throw it away or what. I decide to call and tell them that I found a piece of hair in my food and am going to throw it away. They tell me to bring it back. I then take the food back to them. The lady opens the food asks where I found the hair, looks at the piece of hair and says since I ate most of the food she can either make me more or give me only $5 back (my meal was $8.11). I looked at her like she was crazy took the $5 and walked out. What's $3.11 more?! I will never go back to them again!

This little hole in the wall is a typical spartan Chinese take-out joint. I enjoyed the almond chicken and the fresh, veggie and shrimp filled egg roll. Workers were friendly and spoke good English. I'm not racist but I do need to understand you when I communicate regarding my meal.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
